How do I book a Puja?
Choose your Puja, tap “Book This Puja”, and share your name, WhatsApp number, preferred Puja type and date. You then pay the ₹500 booking confirmation charge, receive a Booking ID, and our Acharya team contacts you to coordinate the Sankalp and the remaining details.
Can I perform the Puja online?
Yes, for services that support it. Select “Online Live Stream” while booking and our team will share the joining details on WhatsApp before your Puja. Online availability is shown on each Puja page.
Where is the offline Puja performed?
Offline Pujas are performed in Kashi (Varanasi) — at the ghats or in temples, at the venue appropriate to the ritual. The exact venue is confirmed by the Acharya team when your Puja is scheduled.
What is the ₹500 booking confirmation charge?
A ₹500 booking confirmation charge is required to confirm your booking. This amount will be adjusted against the final payment after the Puja. It is not the price of the Puja — it simply confirms your booking so the Acharya team can reserve the date and prepare for your Sankalp.
Is the ₹500 adjusted against the final payment?
Yes. The ₹500 confirmation charge is adjusted against your final payment after the Puja. Our team shares the complete details of the final amount with you directly before the Puja.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled Puja, 50% of the ₹500 booking confirmation charge (₹250) is refunded. Cancellations within 24 hours of the Puja are not eligible for a refund. Contact us on WhatsApp with your Booking ID to cancel.
Will I receive a Booking ID?
Yes. Every booking receives a unique Booking ID (for example, KVP-2026-000123). Please mention it whenever you contact us. You can also open your booking any time from “Find my booking”.
Can I contact the Acharya team on WhatsApp?
Yes. Use the “Talk to Kashi Acharya on WhatsApp” button on any page. Your message will already mention the Puja you are interested in.
Can NRIs book a Puja?
Yes. You can book from anywhere in the world using an international WhatsApp number, and choose the online option where available. All Puja dates and times are in India Standard Time (IST).
Can I request a live stream or recorded video?
Yes, you can tick the video option while booking. Availability depends on the selected service and is confirmed by our team before the Puja.
What happens after I book?
You receive a Booking ID immediately. Our Acharya team then contacts you on WhatsApp or phone to confirm the date and time, collect the names and Gotra for the Sankalp, and explain the next steps.
